3. A telegram sent to my grandmother Paula advising that her visa to Cuba was not granted,
4. Nazi record of my grandmother’s deportation to a concentration camp and her death,
5. Nazi record of the forfeiture of my grandmother’s assets as a stateless Jew,
6. A picture of German soldiers hanging a Jewish factory director in the town where my aunt lived,
7. An Auschwitz greenhouse where my aunt worked measuring the growth of plants,
8. A display at the Yad Vashem museum of my aunt’s recipes (looking like matzah) written in Auschwitz.
